What is Emmanuel House?

Welcome to the Emmanuel House Transitional Housing for Homeless Veterans Program! Our Program is designed to provide quality, affordable housing and services to homeless veterans in the City of Detroit. We develop an individualized service goal/treatment plan for each resident as well as provide Case Management and referrals services. Our Veterans receive job training skills that will develop and increase their marketability for future employment. We also assist each client in securing permanent housing and achieving self-sufficiency. The program is located in the French Quarter apartment complex. The complex is situated on 156 acres of land located on the west side of Detroit; between Evergreen Avenue and the Southfield Freeway, north of West Chicago Street.
